When a new hire walks into the Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, office of Golden Hippo, they might see a teammate handing off their keys for a weekly car wash, or another teammate headed to the gym for a complimentary conditioning class. They could wave ‘hello’ to a member of the operations team who’s setting up the office kitchen for a happy hour later that day.
Or, it’s possible they would see Noah, the receptionist, leading an office tour for Carly Campbell, a new hire and HR generalist.
“The onboarding process was great,” Campbell said. “I felt welcomed as a Hippo as soon as I entered the doors on my first day.”
After the office tour, Campbell sat down with the IT helpdesk site lead to set up her equipment.
“This helped me set up for success for the rest of my day with my team,” Campbell said.
