Procore Technologies hits a major milestone: Its first acquisition
Procore Technologies, a provider of cloud-based construction management software, has acquired Oakland-based BIManywhere. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. BIManywhere is a collaboration platform that helps construction and facilities managers streamline communication among teams.

HyreCar has a new CFO behind the wheel
HyreCar, a platform that allows ride-share drivers to rent cars, announced that Scott Brogi has joined the company as its chief financial officer. Previously, Brogi led finance and operations for Teaching Channel Inc.

DreamTeam scores $5M for its e-sports recruitment platform
DreamTeam, an e-sports team-building platform, slam dunked a $5 million seed funding round last Thursday. The Santa Monica-based company will use the fresh funds for product development. DreamTeam is a payment gateway and recruitment platform that allows gamers to find and manage teammates, practice their skills and earn money. Mangrove Capital Partners led the round, its second investment in DreamTeam to date.
