Describe your sales team culture in one word. Why did you choose that word?
Adaptable. Our sales team is always staying ahead of trends and looking for new opportunities to grow the business. With that comes constant change and shifting directions. We believe that no idea is a bad idea — every concept has the potential to evolve into something new and valuable within just a few days. There are no egos here. We focus on making the most of what we have, turning ideas into value for us and our partners — and reaching success as one team.
What are your team’s traditions or growth opportunities? How do these traditions help team members connect, evolve and stay motivated?
Since our team is spread across multiple locations, we make it a priority to plan a few in-person days for brainstorming and strategic planning sessions, followed by relaxed team dinners. These gatherings foster organic conversations and energize us for upcoming projects. When it comes to growth opportunities, our sales leaders have been incredibly supportive. As long as we clearly communicate our goals, they’re committed to helping us achieve them and will go above and beyond to get us there.
How does a strong team culture make you feel more connected to your day-to-day work?
A strong team culture is essential to me and plays a significant role in the overall work experience. When relationships are grounded in trust, respect and honesty, I feel more engaged and connected to my daily responsibilities. Mutual respect enhances the value of feedback, and I appreciate being part of a team where individuals feel comfortable sharing their insights — whether positive or constructive. This openness strengthens collaboration and reinforces our shared commitment to achieving common goals.

What are your team’s traditions or growth opportunities? How do these traditions help team members connect, evolve and stay motivated?
We’re a competitive bunch, which fosters a strong work ethic and we’re always running fun internal competitions. At the same time, we prioritize teamwork and camaraderie so we consistently share best practices and ways for each other to improve. We maintain an internal growth model so the majority of our top AEs and even managers started as SDRs with Crexi.
How does a strong team culture make you feel more connected to your day-to-day work?
The energy and excitement my colleagues bring to the table every day reminds me and our team that we’re in this together. Of course there are days we don’t want to pick up the phone, jump on Zoom or make that meeting, but we show up for one another. We genuinely enjoy working together and it’s inspiring to know we’re making a real difference in the CRE industry.

Describe your sales team culture in one word. Why did you choose that word?
Empowered. I chose this word because I believe in giving my team the tools, knowledge and support they need to succeed. When employees feel empowered, they take ownership of their roles, perform with confidence and provide excellent member service. My leadership style is compassionate and focused on coaching. I work to create a space where the team feels confident, valued and connected to our mission. When my team wins, I win — and most importantly, our members benefit.
What are your team’s traditions or growth opportunities? How do these traditions help team members connect, evolve and stay motivated?
We believe in continuous learning. Whether it’s product training, service coaching or adapting to industry changes, we grow together. I create a safe space for asking questions, sharing feedback and supporting one another. We also celebrate wins — both big and small. Regular huddles, one-on-one meetings and team check-ins keep us aligned and energized. These traditions build trust, connection and motivation while helping each team member feel like they belong and have a purpose.
How does a strong team culture make you feel more connected to your day-to-day work?
Team culture is everything to me. I’ve spent 20 years in banking, and I stay motivated because of the people — my team and our members. I care deeply about creating a positive, supportive environment where my team can thrive. ‘Sales’ is not a dirty word to me. Sales is service. It’s our job to educate members about the tools that can improve their financial lives. When my team leads with purpose and feels supported, I feel connected to the work and am proud of what we do together.
