Stanford, CA - Introducing a revolutionary new game for the Ouya, Bionic Fighters by Imagination Vent! Bionic Fighters is a creative and fresh 2.5D fighting game that blends the high quality graphics of modern console gaming with the iconic and addictive gameplay of SSB. The game is currently in development and will support local and online multiplayer, in addition to a campaign mode intended to teach the player about the game's mechanics. Bionic Fighters has support for English and Japanese languages, and is to be sold on the Ouya market as an exclusive for 10 US dollars if its funding goal of $75,000 is reached.

Have YOU been waiting for a game that provides a worthwhile console experience on your Ouya, that one killer game that makes the console stand out? Bionic Fighters melds and improves on the best elements of a quality fighting game experience with the pricing and affordability offered by Android based devices. Bionic Fighters even supports up to four Bluetooth controllers. We plan to have dedicated servers that enable our users to seamlessly play with their friends online, and track how their friends are faring in the heat of combat.
STATUS: We currently have an early prototype that demonstrates our fundamental concept for Bionic Fighters. Our team is passionately designing this game from the ground up as an exclusive for Ouya. With Bionic Fighters we intend to provide the quality of a console-level gaming experience the Ouya Store currently lacks. The game is in pre-production with development to begin immediately after the Kickstarter funding period ends. We expect to complete Bionic Fighters within 12 to 13 months.
Bionic Fighters takes hand to hand fighting to new extremes with 10 powerful characters, and 7 stages. Two of the ten characters will be designed by the backers in the highest reward tier. The ability to fight with a friend brings team duos to a new level of realism in this high octane thrill ride of fists. We have a diverse roster for Bionic Fighters that includes: a fearsome prehistoric beast, the ubiquitous stickman, Titus the battle hardened swordsman, and a seductive cyberpunk assassin. We will continue revealing more characters as the development of the game progresses. The game is to be built with online matches in mind, and offers multiple unique game modes. One game mode will use the traditional stock "life" model, while the other called "Digital Fighter" will consist of a race against time to gather the most points by attacking opponents. The combat is constantly lightning fast with gameplay devices such as randomly dropped items that spawn throughout the battle to mix up the playing field. We already have stunning mock-ups that look amazing rendered by the Ouya's powerful Tegra 3 processor.
