Deep 6 AI (formerly Deep 6 Analytics) is honored to be participating in the inaugural Connect to End Cancer event at SXSW 2017. Connect to End Cancer is a joint initiative by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the AT&T Connected Health Foundry, and Merck & Co., Inc. focused on transforming cancer research and care for patients around the world. Key challenge areas for which new innovations are needed include acceleration of academic research, improving clinical trials, patient engagement and experience, clinical and operational efficiencies, applying big data, connected devices, health monitoring, and more. Deep 6 AI will be one of eight companies representing transformational innovation to be featured on stage with a 60-second elevator pitch on Sunday, March 12.

The Connect to End Cancer series also includes a special appearance by former Vice President Joe Biden, who will introduce the Biden Cancer Initiative in his session, The Urgency of Now: Launching the Biden Cancer Initiative. He will also reflect on progress made through the White House Cancer Moonshot, and call for innovative solutions supporting the mission to end cancer.
Connect to End Cancer aims to identify, showcase and unite innovators, ideas and health technology providing transformational cancer care to patients around the world.

The more we can do to understand healthcare challenges, and to remove obstacles impeding the technology to make healthcare jobs easier, the more they can focus on ending cancer.”
