Coco Robotics, a Santa Monica company operating a robot delivery platform for urban environments, announced an $80 million round of funding that included participation from investors like Sam and Max Altman. Its robotic fleet has completed more than 500,000 deliveries in cities like Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago and Helsinki, Finland.

The company’s robotic couriers are designed to make deliveries more efficient and affordable while emitting zero harmful gasses into the environment. Coco partners with companies like Uber and DoorDash to serve customers across the United States and Europe through its AI-driven fleet.

The new capital investment enables Coco to fuel enhancements to its AI platform, scale its fleet and grow its enterprise partnerships. The company aims to expand into more U.S. markets and is on track to operate a fleet of 10,000 vehicles by 2026.
