The global e-commerce giant has had a generous Southern California footprint for years. But in May, Amazon announced plans to expand its LA-area tech hubs in cities including San Diego, Santa Monica and Irvine. The company said it plans to add more than 2,500 office roles to its team in the coming years. Amazon’s new Spectrum Terrace office opened this year and its University Town Center space is expected to open early next year.

Cosm develops domed and compound curved LED tech that lets guests experience immersive content ranging from live sports to art and music. In August, the company leased space in Hollywood Park to open its first public venue. The 65,000-square-foot facility features a 26.6-meter diameter LED dome and is large enough for 1,700 guests. With a focus on hybrid work, corporate real estate company CBRE recently remodeled its office in El Segundo and welcomed employees to the space in August. Spanning 31,000 square feet across two stories, CBRE’s new office includes 14 different workspaces, an outdoor area, video conference rooms, interactive screens and more. Its open-floor workspace seats 200 employees and aims to enable various working styles. CBRE has been ramping up its tech lately following its acquisition of real estate tech firm Buildingi.

SaaS platform Topo Solutions builds cloud-based tools to help brands manage their supply chain sustainably. Based in Hong Kong, the company is growing worldwide. It opened a new office in LA in September led by founder and CEO Benjamin Eberle. With plans to continue this growth momentum, Topo Solutions is hiring for roles in product development, engineering, customer success and more.

Dallas-based Omni Logistics opened its new warehouse and cross-dock facility near Los Angeles. The company said it opened the space to capitalize on the bustling Long Beach logistics sector. Omni Logistics’ new location spans 251,606 square feet and is situated near the Los Angeles International Airport. The company has a team of 4,500 employees across more than 100 locations.
