Summary
The Grindr team is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Associate to engage, schedule and represent Grindr in a positive light to our candidate pool. As the first point of contact within Grindr, you will always be contributing to the Grindr brand and selling an incredible opportunity to join a successful mobile company. You will set an example of our culture with every communication and interaction and help to scale our recruiting practices as we grow as an organization. Above all, you will be responsible for Grindr’s most valuable asset - our people.
Responsibilities
- Own the interview process; engage, schedule, and follow up with our exceptional candidates using our ATS, Greenhouse
- Closely manage candidates through our interview process; using your exceptional organizational skills to effectively manage the entire candidate pipeline
- Run special Talent Acquisition or HR projects as needed; potentially assisting and attending recruiting functions and events during or after traditional business hours
- Ensure an impressive candidate experience through exemplary communication & timely feedback, as well as interviewer preparedness and effective interview format
- Track metrics and use data for strategic analysis of recruiting campaigns
- Assist with sourcing and candidate pipeline development
- Relieve the front office receptionist during lunch breaks, etc. as needed
- Assist on employer branding and help manage our #lifeatgrindr Instagram account
- Handle full cycle recruiting for junior roles
- Conduct reference checks
- Manage employee referral process
Requirements
- BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience
- Must have 2+ years’ experience in a recruiting capacity
- Proven success delivering recruiting results in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth, demanding environment
- Direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and approaches
- Strong customer management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates & hiring managers
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to partner with and build upon the strengths of others to meet overall team goals
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and act quickly
- Excellent communication skills; you’re a conversational wizard and can engage all types of candidates over the phone and via email
