Senior Associate, Underwriting 

We are currently looking for an Associate to work full-time in our Los Angeles headquarters. This Associate will work closely with senior team members to evaluate opportunities and spread financials to fit the credit and investing criteria of RealtyMogul.com. Your impact will be immediate and critical to successfully scaling RealtyMogul.com as the leading real estate crowdfunding platform. This role will report to the Chief Credit Officer.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze, interpret, underwrite, process and close commercial and multifamily real estate transactions on both a debt and equity basis
• Assist with preparing investment opportunity submissions relative to financial strengths and weaknesses, risk assessments, strength of sponsor/guarantors, collateral and deal structures
• Conduct market analysis and due diligence
• Model complex financial structures
• Liaise with brokers, partners, sponsors, and third-party agencies
• Work with the senior management team on additional ad hoc projects as needed

Who You Are:

• You have a bachelor's degree with top academic and professional credentials
• You have at least 4 years of commercial underwriting and processing experience
• You have previous real estate experience with 3-4 years of investment banking/private equity/investment sales with a leading firm
• You have Experience with multiple commercial real estate asset classes, development experience is a plus
• You have strong quantitative and technical/computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to model transactions
• You have excellent communication skills; a true self-starter capable of accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision
• You are proactive, comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with a strong interest in the real estate private equity industry
