PURPOSE

The Senior Accountant at Hyperloop One is directly responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company and will report directly to the Director of Accounting.

THE ROLE

• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including variance reports.
• Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
• Assist with audits, as needed, and expense tracking

• Update & Maintain financial systems: NetSuite and Concur
• Responsible for management of credit card and T&E process and related accruals
• Review of and preparation for consolidation of international subsidiaries

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• B.S. in Accounting
• 10+ years of Experience (Big 4 Experience Preferred)
• Manufacturing experience a MUST
• In-depth understanding of GAAP & Understanding of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow Statement and their relationships
• Systems Knowledge: NetSuite and Concur
• Advanced Excel User

PREFERENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCE

• CPA 
• Consolidation and international experience
