HopSkipDrive is a mission-driven company that makes life easier for busy families by getting kids where they need to go safely and dependably. We match families with highly-vetted CareDrivers, who have a minimum of 5 years of childcare experience and must pass a mom-approved, rigorous 15-point certification process, which includes extensive background checks, fingerprinting, DMV checks, driver training, and meeting every single driver in person.
We were founded by 3 working moms who have 8 kids among them and who developed HopSkipDrive as a solution to their own problems getting kids where they needed to go. We are a VC-backed company with investment and involvement from nearly every major LA investor including Upfront Ventures, Greycroft and Pritzker, with more than $20M in funding.

You will be reporting to the VP of Growth and will manage a minimum of 2 account executives.
What you'll do
- Reach and exceed individual sales goals while contributing to overall team goals.
- Hire, train, inspire and retain a team of high-functioning sellers focused on building a pipeline and closing new business across HopSkipDrive’s full suite of solutions.
- Evaluate and redefine the sales process to optimize efficiency throughout the sales cycle.
- Establish deep relationships with direct clients and partners.
- Deliver against set KPIs and collaborate with account management, finance and legal in setting individual goals, forecasting revenue and budgeting for future needs of the business.
- Evangelize the HopSkipDrive value proposition and sell HopSkipDrive offerings by honing in on client and industry specific needs, challenges and trends.
- Ensure detailed and accurate qualification of clients while up-selling to recurring budgets.
Who you are
- 8 years of progressive sales experience with minimum of 2 years leading a sales team and 5+ years proven solution sales experience gained in technology and/or education field
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves with an individual and team quota
- Strong track record of driving new business.
- Preferably established relationships with key contacts in prospects from the education industry
- Negotiation and influencing skills and an ability to reach the right person in an organization
- Ability to prioritize in the face of demanding time frames
- Organizational and exceptional time management skills
- Interest in identifying, mapping and modeling new revenue streams for HopSkipDrive – including growth across non-traditional segments
- Bachelor’s degree required
