Position Summary
As a Resource Staffing Associate you will provide support for US DV Staffing Lead. This includes making short term staffing decisions for any proposal requests, working closely with cohort directors to assign billable staff to sold work, managing the internal resource management tool, having a keen sense of what staff are working on at any given time, triaging multiple resource requests, monitoring bill-ability and time sheet accuracy, and working closely with the HR, Finance and Recruiting teams on internal coordination. You will interact and work effectively with members of the operations and consulting staff, office management, global DV staffing, Performance & Growth Committee, and the DV US leadership team.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with leadership and DV employees to staff venture resource that best aligns with peoples interests, skill sets and project needs
  • Update and maintain resource management tool with any changes to staffing, adding new billable and non billable projects to the system, adjusting staff allocations as needed.
  • Create and share weekly availability report with Partners, Principals, and Leadership
  • Work closely with the US Staffing Lead to understand big picture staffing implications and participate in staffing meetings with cohort leads.
  • Respond to staffing inquiries from management regarding availability, upcoming projects, (i.e., support for proposals, sales development, demos, temps/contractors, etc.)
  • Accurately track assignments of available staff during unassigned time, including training/vacation/LOA information, especially in tight staffing situations
  • Work with Finance team to monitor timesheet accuracy on a weekly basis
  • Communicate finalized venture team staffing configurations, as well as any changes to that plan, to Performance & Growth Committee and Finance teams
  • Manage submission and maintenance of employee biography’s
  • Manage summer intern staffing
  • Perform other analytical tasks or special projects as needed
Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ Years of experience in a Resource Management or Human Resources position. Preferably within a dynamic technology, design or consulting environment
  • BA/BS Degree preferred or relevant work experience
  • Strong computer skills with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with a resource management tools preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong service orientation and sensitivity in responding to customer needs
  • Resourceful; strong problem-solving capabilities; ability to multi task
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to handle difficult situations with poise, diplomacy and tact
  • Excellent organizational skills; thorough, detail oriented
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
