We are looking for a talented Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. The Recruiting Coordinator plays a very critical role in the Talent Operations department. In fact, you are playing a key role in the development and promotion of the company by supporting the hiring process from the initial stages. You will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews. At Hyperloop One, we pride ourselves in the people who work to make the Hyperloop a reality. Since we are growing at a rapid pace, the Recruiting Coordinator helps the team stay organized, all while providing the best candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process.

THE ROLE:

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you have thorough knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas. This position requires you to be focused as you will be handling multiple job applications and requisitions on a daily basis. This individual is on the front lines with candidates and their initial contact with candidates is a reflection on the company. The Recruiting Coordinator also manage job postings and seek out new, innovative avenues through which they can reach potential candidates. They can spot talent from a mile away and know how to quickly scan a resume and check its authenticity. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to speak clearly and positively on the phone, over email, and in person.

THE CANDIDATE:

Experience helps, but so does a willing, flexible personality, someone who is customer service oriented and a keen eye for accuracy and detail. You must be extremely organized and have a penchant for building strong relationships with both current and potential employees. If you have strong communication skills and are confident as a headhunter, we want to meet you. We like working with people who think ‘outside-the-box’ and who finish projects in a timely manner. Ultimately, you should be able to manage our full recruitment cycle and ensure we meet our staff requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers, and university boards
  • Support Talent Operations team and ensure we are meeting our staffing requirements recruiting efforts
  • Schedule interviews (phone, video, face to face), and arrange various accommodations (meal, flight, hotel, etc.)
  • Providing excellent customer service and continually improve the candidate experience
  • Conduct research and provide support for target recruitment activities
  • Assist recruiters in managing job postings and conduct regular searches on all available job boards
  • Update and maintain the ATS (applicant tracking system)
  • Coordinate university, community outreach, and job fair logistics
  • Assist with relocation and expense reimbursement of candidates
  • Maintain metrics and records or interviews and new hires
  • Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to asses candidates skills
  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
  • Attend job fairs and career events

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or a Recruiter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based, behavioral)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tacking systems, and candidate management systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Must be a problem solver
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
