People Reporting Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced HR/Recruiting Reporting Specialist to join the People Analytics team at Snap Inc! As part of the People organization, People Analytics provides insights to help leaders make informed decisions about the workforce. The People Reporting Specialist will contribute to the development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of our Global People Reporting offerings by partnering closely with the HR Technology team and working with peers across the People organization to understand the reporting needs of the business.
What you’ll do:
- Act as global point of contact for all reporting requests for workforce & recruiting data
- Develop, deliver, and troubleshoot regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and other forms of data-based insights using multiple tools including Workday, Visier, Looker, Excel, and Sheets.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support government reports (EEO, AAP, etc.)
- Ensure reports are accurate, meet business needs, are easy to interpret, and are delivered within agreed-upon time frames
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate and streamline regular reporting requests
- Develop a significant understanding of the business and organizational structure aligning data requests to business objectives
- Run regular audits on People data and report issues
- Promote data governance and stewardship to improve overall data quality and assist in managing the company’s People data
- Communicate system and process changes to partners across the People organization
- Identify areas where People data is not up-to-date and work with People partners to suggest and implement ways to improve data quality
- Schedule and validate weekly data loads into Visier Workforce Intelligence
- Develop and deliver user training sessions and user guides on reporting to end users
- Be an honorary member of the HR Technology team and remain up-to-date on system changes
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum 1 year of HR Reporting experience, 2-3 years and/or experience with Recruiting Reporting preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in handling highly confidential data sets
- Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup, macros, charts & graphs)
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Looker, Visier, and/or other reporting and analytic tools preferred
- Knowledge of pertinent state, federal, and local regulatory requirements; international reporting experience highly preferred
