The People Operations Administrator is responsible for supporting the People Operations team with various administrative tasks that ensures the department's success. You will have an instant impact in every project that our team participates in and accomplishes, and will truly be a master of your domain.

The People Operations Administrator will be responsible for daily execution of Human Resources needs, including maintenance of personnel files, administering the onboarding process, and assisting the HR team with everything from benefits to payroll. The role will also help schedule interviews, greet candidates, and make sure that their interview experience with Loot Crate reflects our values. This role will also make sure that our hiring managers adhere to the same high-touch, high-value process!

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our company's culture and be able to clearly communicate this to candidates, ensuring that they embody the Loot Crate culture once they become Looters!

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the preparation of paperwork for onboarding and offboarding of employees, including new hire paperwork and exit paperwork.
  • Complete required government documents such as, withholding orders, verification of employments, etc.
  • Handle all data entry for the department, which will include personnel information and benefits data, and are responsible for accurate record keeping. This will include various compliance audits throughout the year.
  • Own the coordination and scheduling of onsite, phone, and Google Hangout interviews between candidates, recruiters and Hiring Managers. Be the point of contact for candidates, ready with interview information, and coordinate travel for non-local candidates.
  • Ensure that the candidate, the hiring manager and any interviewing colleagues have all the information and resources necessary to have a high-quality interview experience
  • Assist with general People Operations questions and application of company policy and procedures.

  • Be meticulous and able to address unexpected situations with ease and professionalism, and with very little guidance. Provide a professional and high customer service experience for candidates, managers and employees.
  • Be proactive and look to find ways to improve the department's process.
  • Consistently see all tasks from start to finish.

Qualifications Needed:

  • 2+ years experience in an administrative role within a Recruiting or Human Resources department
  • Demonstrated experience in scheduling and coordinating complex calendars
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (esp. Excel and Powerpoint) and Google Apps/Docs
  • Some experience with an ATS (like JAZZ or Lever or Greenhouse) and an HRIS (like UltiPro or BambooHR or ADP) a plus
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
