Playtika Santa Monica is looking for a Monetization Director or Manager to own all strategy, planning, execution, and analysis related to monetization. This role will also help provide valuable insights into game design and monetization feature development, and will contribute to the creation of an environment and culture which will help us develop the next generation of social games in our Santa Monica, CA office.

This role is an integral part of the Monetization and Product Teams and will lead a team of monetization analysts. The position works closely with:

1) The Product Design Teams to develop & test new monetization levers

2) The Product Marketing Teams to plan, execute, and optimize promotional activity

3) The Monetization Analytics Manager to analyze effectiveness of events & promotions

The position is ideally suited for a social gamer with an analytical mind and a bias towards action. The position will be given broad exposure to the business side of the social/mobile gaming industry and gain experience in how to strategically grow a game and maximize long term revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual monetization & revenue targets
  • Own the events and promotion strategy - develop the events and promotion calendar for our games
  • Coordinate with designers and digital marketing managers on the Product Marketing Team to execute monthly events and promotions across all of our game platforms: Facebook, Apple iOS, Google Play, Amazon Kindle, bingoblitz.com and more
  • Plan A/B tests and optimize the effectiveness of our storefronts, events, and promotions
  • Deliver analyses on impact of events and promotions on Customer Lifetime Value
  • Develop standard reports with the Monetization Analytics Manager to measure the impact of events and promotions
  • Brainstorm new monetization features and project revenue impact to prioritize feature rollout
  • Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager to develop and test new monetization features
  • Create and maintain a model to forecast monthly/quarterly revenue based on content releases and planned events & promotional activities
  • Create Tableau dashboards and presentations that illustrate key findings, along with providing detailed monthly and quarterly revenue results overviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a quantitative role
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders and articulate vision/direction
  • A strong interest in social and mobile gaming

Pluses:

  • 2 years of experience in management consulting or investment banking
  • MBA or a Masters degree a plus
  • Previous experience with marketing, monetization, and/or product management in the games industry
  • Experience with Tableau or Microstrategy
