We are looking for a highly qualified and highly motivated Manager, Tax who is committed to assisting Magnite's tax department in all aspects of tax compliance, global tax planning, audits, and accounting for income taxes
In this role you will:
- Facilitate and assist with the preparation, review, and timely filings of Federal consolidated tax, State income tax, and franchise tax returns.
- Facilitate and assist with the preparation, review, and timely completion of quarterly tax provision.
- Facilitate and assist the company's external provider in the preparation of the Research and Development tax credit.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
- Prepare/Review various state business filings, local tax registrations, and sales/use tax returns.
- Provide support for transfer pricing activities as needed.
- Support OneSource software solution for tax accounting and compliance.
- Provide support for all tax audits and tax authority inquiries domestic and international.
- Assist with SOX compliance including monitoring controls and testing.
- Assist in strategic tax planning and corporate restructuring projects
- Facilitate and manage the quarterly Federal and State estimated tax payments and extensions.
- Provide support to senior management regarding mergers and acquisitions including specific advice on acquisition structures and state implications.
- Focus on document retention and organization, process documentation including improvement and automation/simplification.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
We're looking for someone with:
- B.S. in Accounting; Master's in Accounting or Tax preferred
- CPA required
- Must have 6+ years of relevant tax experience
- Big 4 or similar experience required
- Strong corporate tax knowledge - Federal & state
- Must have advanced Excel skills and intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
- Oracle experience a plus
- One Source experience a plus
- International tax experience a plus
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

In California, the base salary range for this position is: $120,000- $135,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
