12Twenty is a startup based in Santa Monica that is rapidly growing and we are looking for a vibrant and ambitious salesperson to help us seek out potential clients and sell our suite of apps.

Within this full-time, entry-level role as a Junior Sales Representative (SR) at 12Twenty, you will process leads from different sources and pass the opportunities to our Account Executives for closing. As a SR you will be involved with providing your inputs into how we can optimize our sales process.

A successful SR candidate will be detail oriented, creative, and self-driven. You understand the sales process and take pride in building and strengthening client relationships. You are comfortable working in a close-knit startup environment. You will have proven sales and/or lead generating success and are excited about helping 12Twenty further develop its reputation as the industry standard for student outcome data and employment data.

Responsibilities

• Understanding 12Twenty’s Platform and Suite of Apps and how it will meet your clients’ needs
  
• Calling and emailing Directors and VP’s at all levels within the education industry
  
• Starting and following up on a high volume of leads in a rapid manner
  
• Recording details of the call, understanding the needs of the client, and coordinating the next steps to Successfully pass the opportunity along to our Account Executives
  
• Using SalesForce for sales forecasting and lead management
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
  
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
  
• Enthusiastic, bright, and good at developing trust and opening doors
  
• 2+ years of related sales experience preferred, but not required.
