As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be expected to take a hands-on role in finding the best talent. You’ll support the whole Loot Crate organization, as well as develop strategic processes that drive towards achieving this goal. You are meticulous, yet flexible enough to navigate a sometimes murky environment. It’s important to be focused on the end goal rather than the means to get there, but all the while recognizing the long-term need for thoroughly tested processes.

As the ideal candidate, you will also be a business driver and adopter of methodologies that help us meet our goal of being a best-in-class employer. You establish great connections with people, but believe deep-down that data is able to answer any question.

Responsibilities:


  • Recruiting: Source and recruit for A-level talent across all functions within the organization, including Technology, Marketing, Brand, Product Management, Customer Support, and Design
  • Hiring Process: Improve and implement company-wide hiring processes such as incorporating standardized hiring workflows (technical and non-technical), using data to influence hiring, and interviewer training
  • Data: Identify key metrics, be able to answer why they are important, and measure them within capabilities that are currently held or easily attainable
  • KPIs: Develop metric goals and consistently find a way to beat them
  • Vendor Management: Act as point of contact for outside vendor agencies, when appropriate.
  • Continuous improvement: Facilitate a culture that encourages constant iterating

  • Develop and implement processes that use industry proven methodologies to predictively identify high-performers
  • Partner with People Operations partners in making the Loot Crate employer brand the best in class
  • Skills & Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of experience in a recruiting function, with at least 1 of those being a part of an internal talent acquisition team
    • Proven results in sourcing and recruiting for technology talent (our stack is Ruby/Rails over PostgreSQL) and have available networks to tap into
    • Experience recruiting cross-functionally
    • You’ve implemented successful initiatives and/or processes
    • You’ve comfortably handled 15-20 requisitions at one time
    • If you have experience in a high-growth environment, that’s a huge plus
