Financial Operations Analyst

We’re looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to join Snap Inc! Working with the Finance team, you will coordinate and execute cross-functional team initiatives that help us realize our shared department goals. Working from our Santa Monica, CA office, you’ll collaborate with Finance professionals across Snap to deliver cross-functional project support.
What you’ll do:
- Provide management support for multiple projects across the Finance organization
- Build project execution documentation, including charters, status reports, and other governance tools
- Manage reporting and resolution of issues, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, suggesting mitigations to risks, actions to close issues or complete open items
- Partner with IT to develop system requirements, establish timelines, and ensure on time completion of projects
- Identify opportunities to improve process or leverage technology to automate activities
- Develop process taxonomy and facilitate the development of process level documentation, key performance indicators, and measurement tools
What we’re looking for:
- BS degree in accounting, finance, or similar discipline (CPA a plus)
- 2+ years of finance strategy, transformation, or operations related experience
- Big 4 or top tier management consulting experience a plus
- Experience with small to medium sized projects with specific experience in:
- Finance and accounting system implementations or conversions
- Process improvement assessments/implementation
- Turnaround, tight timeline, and/or crisis environments
- Experience in developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations
- Experience with finance systems (Netsuite or similar ERP systems, Anaplan or similar planning systems, etc.)
- Willingness to put in the extra effort (extended work hours, participate in events outside of standard working hours)
- Meticulous attention to detail for project status reporting, issue/resolution tracking, and risk management
- Ability to think in complex and ever changing situations, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve problems, as well as execute and transfer knowledge
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead meetings
- Ability to quickly establish credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization and be viewed as a team player
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint), to build relationships and foster trust at all levels across the organization
- Be nimble and agile and able to help the team Finance execute
