Cross Campus, LA’s most dynamic collaborative workspace and business event venue, is hiring a full-time Event Sales Coordinator to help expand our events team and capabilities as we grow to new locations and markets.

The Event Sales Coordinator will work along side the other members of our events team to ensure that this caliber of events and experiences continues to be a driving force in our business and in our city.

Candidates for this role will be organized, proactive, and driven to exceed goals and expectations. The role will be based at Cross Campus HQ in Santa Monica, and will require travel to our locations in Pasadena and Downtown LA. The role will report to the Head of Events & Programming.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Sales:
— Receive, qualify and respond to all inbound event inquiries.
— Perform tours for prospective clients, performing consultative event planning services during the sales process.
— Prepare and send proposals, including quotes, contracts and invoices.

Event & Client Management:
— Responsible for client relationships, from closing to contract/billing through post-event.
— Manage event pipeline and CRM systems to ensure organized and timely completion.
— Update and maintain event calendars, including internal, web and partner online calendars.
— Coordinate with Event Production, Marketing and Operations to ensure excellent execution and maximum impact for Cross Campus, our members and our event clients.

Marketing:
— Execute proactive outreach efforts, including through growth of an event organizer email list.
— Develop and maintain event sales & marketing materials for inbound and outbound efforts.
— Assist with strategic partner and community organizer relationships.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

— 2-4 years of relevant work experience, with the following being a plus: Event venue-side sales, Event agency sales, Event planning and coordination (must have sales experience)
— Extremely organized with an ability to multi-task effectively
— Excellent written and verbal communication, including phone skills
— Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, GoogleApps and other major cloud-based apps
— Experience working with digital CRM and event management tools such as Salesforce or Reserve a plus
— Demonstrable success working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
