The Equity & Portfolio expert will be fully responsible for finding, mentoring and evaluating startup companies that could benefit from Hawke’s services and support the growth of on boarded companies in the tech industry in Santa Monica.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise and experience in entrepreneurial residence management, with an emphasis on business administration, entrepreneurship, marketing and fund raising.
Skills and Experience
· Identify early stage tech companies within the Silicon Beach area with high potential by building and managing a pipeline of companies
· Perform outreach and networking to drive awareness of Hawke’s services
· Facilitate connection of startup companies to support resources while vetting and evaluating companies seeking funding
· Manage Hawke’s investments and daily relationships involved while building strong sustainable relationships
· Assist early stage companies in developing business strategies
· Mentor inexperienced entrepreneurs in key start up activities related to strategic marketing, business development, strategic partnering and fund raising
· Conduct account audits to establish KPI viability/targets and develop tactical activation solutions
· Analyze reports to evaluate ROI, extract actionable results and course-correct activation strategy
· Conduct weekly meetings/calls to recap activity and ensure it is properly leveraged to drive sales
· Deliver weekly digests to stakeholders detailing wins, challenges, opportunities, competitive activity and key learnings
