About the opportunity:
ServiceTitan is hiring a Director/Sr. Manager of People - East Coast Operations to launch, manage, and scale our East Coast office in Atlanta, GA. We have had incredible success the past couple years signing up customers across the country; and we are now ready and excited to expand our service footprint outside of Southern California HQ. Reporting directly to the VP of People and partnering closely with our VP of Customer Success, this person will be the key driver of our expansion and the future growth of ServiceTitan.
What you’ll do:
- Launch a new office and prove its success by the end of 2017.
- Manage all aspects of local office operations including administration, processes, policies, facilities, taxes, and regulations.
- Plan budget, rolling forecasts, and regional operations in conjunction with HQ leadership.
- Staff the branch to full capacity with a mix of local hires and relocated transfers from HQ.
- Build and maintain the local working culture in a manner that reinforces a sense of unity and connection to HQ.
- Partner with functional managers from HQ to set and track KPIs, optimize the local team’s performance, support career and professional development, and resolve personnel issues.
- Capitalize on local opportunities for customer acquisition and customer service.
- Expand ServiceTitan footprint by growing company branding and engagement with local market (employment, trade associations, and so forth).
- Support critical People Operations systems, analytics, and initiatives from HQ.
- Serve as the regional Subject Matter Expert for core business and company knowledge.
You should have:
- An undergraduate degree and at least 5-10 years of relevant experience. MBA a plus.
- Experience setting up a new office.
- Experience leading both customer-facing and back office operations.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent coaching, people management, and relationship building capability.
- Excellent communication, written and verbal presentation skills.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to details.
- A do-er who can roll up his/her sleeves to get the work done.
- Self-starter attitude and track record with seamlessly executing quickly on complex initiatives with minimal guidance.
