We are looking for a relationship-driven leader to be our Director of Channel Management. You will manage the entire strategy around our channel partners. It will be your task to manage the channel partner team in order to source, drive, negotiate and close new partnerships, while maintaining and bettering our already existing relationships. The goal of this position is to drive adoption, retention, and growth with our channel partners.
YOUR CHALLENGE- Grow sales dramatically by multiplying the effectiveness of the sales team
- Work with the executive team to develop and execute our alliance strategy, training/pd programs, tiered channel programs, etc.
- Cultivate executive level relationships with channel partners
- The DCM will help partners create and execute business plans to help channel partners meet and exceed revenue, training, and marketing goals as well as certifications
- Maintain strong direct executive level relationships with channel partners
- Answer questions from the channel team and channel partners
- Manage the process of new partner agreements, renewals and contract enhancements with senior-level executives
- Responsible for developing joint business plans and conducting
- Quarterly Business Reviews with focused partners
- 5+ years of high-tech channel sales/business development work
- Experience with technology vendors and VARs
- Experience in building channel partner and development strategySuccessful history in selling B2B software
- Experience working in a rapid-growth technology company preferred
- Experience managing multiple technology vendor relationships
- Highly analytical and strategic-minded thinking
- Familiarity with selling software through the channel
- Passionate about education and education technology
- General love for team activities (we’re always up to something)
