Who We’re Seeking:

An experienced accounting professional to establish and lead the accounting function of our high-growth, 50+ person-company, reporting to our Head of Finance. You're quantitative, detail orientated and able to focus on the assignment at hand without losing sight of the big picture.

Key responsibilities: 

• Lead the administrative, accounting, and book-closing functions at Omaze.  
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes; prepare financial statements and reports
• Implement organizational policies, operating procedures, and business controls; manage tax compliance and audits
• Maintain accounting records, closing the books monthly & supporting activities of the management team

Our Ideal Candidate:

• You are a CPA with 3-5 years of experience in accounting operations, including managing GAAP accounting for internet-based companies
• You have experience building financial plans and managing budgets to plans
• You are invested in Omaze's financial management, including closing the books, and will grow with the entire finance team as the business scales
• You have Big 6 experience, and you are proficient in Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and skilled at Bill.com and Expensify
• You take your work seriously but not yourself
