Job Summary

We are looking for a sharp part-time Business Development Analyst intern to work 8-16 hours per week. The internship is open on a rolling basis and we accept candidates for spring, summer, and fall internships.

As a Business Development Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our Business Development team in wide variety of areas, including lead generation, research, and marketing. You must be able to move quickly, run and help refine processes, conduct thorough research, and want to learn about technology and how we identify, connect with, and bring on new client accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, hungry, tech enthusiast who is interested in business development and technology. We are a motivated, clever, and fun group of digital junkies, and you should be too.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide research and support for the Business Development team
• Review inbound RFPs/leads and client requirements; work with sales team to structure strong responses & proposals
• Help develop target account lists and pursue specific relationships
• Use a mix of email, formal & informal in-person meetings, calls, and social messaging for effective prospect outreach

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interest in technology and the internet and desire to learn more
• Ability to produce detailed and well-organized research and documentation (have a knack for effectively summarizing concepts, thoughts, and research)
• Must be a current undergraduate who can transport themself to our office in West LA (Olympic & Bundy) 1+ times per week
• Strong research and analytical skills and problem solving ability
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be responsive, pro-active, enthusiastic, and adaptable – research engagements often require short turnarounds
• Experience with web or app development is a big plus
• Self-starter with demonstrated capacity for independent initiative
