- Manage accounting & recording keeping for all financial transactions, ensuring integrity of systems and data in SAP
- Manage the monthly and quarterly close process in SAP
- Manage periodic financial reporting and analysis using Excel and SAP
- Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting and finance rules and regulations including GAAP, IFRS, IRS, and other as needed
- Strengthen internal controls
- Maintain financial accounting policies and processes
- Participate as a team member in business improvement opportunities
- Effectively communicate with all internal team members, third party service providers, external auditors, and others
- Operate with the highest level of integrity and collaboration
- Participate in aggressive US and global business growth strategy
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA highly desired, MBA a plus
- High level of hands on knowledge and experience with SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) modules
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Strong reporting, analytical, and operational finance experience and aptitude
- High level of knowledge and experience with US GAAP, and exposure to IFRS a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills: able to look at alternatives, identify discrepancies & irregularities, & work with team to devise & implement solution
- Strong planning skills, managing timetables, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically while driving execution
- High level of written and oral communication and writing skills, with ability to synthesize complex information into straightforward language for multiple stakeholders
- Ability to effectively communicate key data, including presentations to the leadership team
- Proven leadership, and relationship management experience
- Strong work ethic and drive
- Well organized and detailed oriented
- Ability and willingness to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment
