The Accounting Assistant at Hyperloop One will perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks and will report directly to the Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Daily data entry of treasury and credit card expense transactions in financial systems
- Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Support senior accounting team for monthly financial close
- Assist with ad-hoc projects/assignments as needed
Requirements
- B.S. in accounting, finance or related field
- Proven accounting experience and familiarity with bookkeeping
- 2+ years of experience
- Systems Knowledge a plus: NetSuite and Concur
- Intermediate Excel User
- Accuracy and attention to detail
