The Honest Company has kicked off the search for an Account Manager to support our Amazon/e-tail business! In this role, you will be responsible for the development, management, and growth of the independent and affiliate network. As an Account Manager, you will develop new and existing business by identifying and developing strategic account partners. You will regularly call on customers to raise their level of awareness and increase the demand of The Honest Company’s product line.

What you’ll do:

  • Meet and exceed sales objectives as well as market share within assigned territory and specific accounts
  • Support the Sales Director’s national, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to monitor and overcome competitive activity within channel
  • Monitor and manage top A,B, and C customers that represent the majority of sales volume and develop action plans to ensure continued growth
  • Work with the Customer Strategy team to design unique marketing and promotional programs for the channel and specific accounts
  • Display a comprehensive understanding of products, product mixes, and product positioning to develop profitable and valuable revenue opportunities
  • Provide continuous sales process and product performance feedback
  • Work under the direction of the Sales Director to ensure client satisfaction and develop key accounts into active and strong channel partners
  • Implement promotional events and merchandising recommendations at store level
  • Identify high potential revenue opportunities through market and customer profiling
  • Attend industry events and tradeshows that enhance brand position
  • Market visits to top 25% of accounts each quarter
  • Complete administrative duties and work within the specified budget

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or project management supporting an Ecommerce environment
  • Previous key account management experience
  • Demonstrated record of achievement throughout career
  • Strong knowledge of online retailer and marketplaces
  • Experience working with syndicated data sources including ARA-P, IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Willingness to travel. We’ll need you to take your talents on tour!
