We're looking for a driven, self-starter with strong technical abilities who has a solutions-oriented selling approach and can communicate at a detailed-level about referral marketing, customer acquisition/retention, and our platform, Friendbuy.
The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in customer service and/or product management. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve a balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach. The goal is to find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships.
You'll be creating plans to achieve your sales quota and executing against that plan in a hand-on manner. You will be expected to unearth new sales opportunities through networking and cold prospecting and turn those leads/opportunities into closed deals and long term partnerships. You’ll be making a huge impact at a quickly growing SaaS start-up.
Develop an effective pipeline of new prospects through outbound prospecting utilizing Datanyze, Tout, Salesforce, LinkedIn, networking and cold calling as well as fielding the BDR pipeline activity.
Market company’s solutions to potential customers through email, cold calling and personal networking.
Set up qualified appointments and field qualified appointments setup by BDRs.
Create and present sales material to prospective customers and provide demos of the Friendbuy platform.
Negotiate agreements and create/present material to address any sales objections.
Track and maintain all customer contact, sales activity and pipeline progression via Salesforce.
- Close new enterprise accounts to achieve quotas and company sales targets.
- BS or BA
- 3+ years of lead generation, inside sales and quota carrying sales position
- Experience selling into e-commerce, subscription, digital goods.
- Experience selling in a high-volume SaaS business.
- Strong basic computer skills - Microsoft (XLS, PPT, DOC) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc…)
- Experience with Salesforce, Tout, Cirrus Insights, Datanyze and LinkedIn
- Excellent English, both oral and written
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced startup environment - seeks to understand the big picture while staying action-oriented
- Team player, reliable, collaborative, friendly and self-aware
- Passion for customer success
- Loves a challenge, grit, actively takes ownership, quickly learns and makes adjustments on-the-fly
