HopSkipDrive is a fast-growing, VC-backed company based in Los Angeles whose three co-founders were recently featured in TechCrunch’s ‘40 female founders who crushed it in 2016’. HopSkipDrive is a ride service for children with an uncompromising commitment to safety and a passion for helping families. We currently operate in three major markets and have ambitions to scale nationally.
We have received $14M in funding from nearly every major LA investor, including Upfront Ventures, Greycroft and Pritzker, and are widely considered one of the hottest tech start-ups in LA.
Job Summary
The Account Executive will join a rapidly growing team of dynamic, energetic individuals dedicated to expanding HopSkipDrive’s reach into schools and businesses. We are seeking an individual who is excited to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is willing to do what it takes to build the business.
Specifically, you will:
- Reach out and sell our services to schools and businesses, with a focus on SMBs to start
- Manage complete sales cycle from cold call to close by hitting or exceeding monthly qualified lead and closed business targets
- Work with B2B Relationship Manager to onboard and manage larger relationships
- Run call and email campaigns to generate new prospects and qualify lead lists for all segments
- Maintain daily and weekly call/email quotas
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-5 years experience in Lead Generation and Sales (preferably hunter sales roles)
- Enthusiastic, optimistic and certain of victory. You are unfazed by rejection.
- Outgoing, energetic and personable.You build relationships easily.
- Listening and identifying needs/problems is your superpower.
- Resourceful and creative. You go over, around and through obstacles to achieve success.
- Willingness to contact anyone, by phone, email or in person
- Strong attention to detail, excellent follow up and unparalleled organizational skills.
- Experience selling to SMBs
- Experience in school/education vertical a huge plus
- Experience working with a CRM and know how to utilize it to track your own work
- Desire to grow as the company grows
