The Honest Company’s Sales team is hiring a Director of Sales for the Specialty and Boutique channel! We’re seeking a sales professional with experience selling nationally to large accounts with a leading or high-growth CPG company. What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute the strategic sales plan for our key retail partners within the Specialty channel, including Babies“R”Us, Bed Bath & Beyond, buy buy Baby, Nordstrom and Harmon
- Establish outstanding customer relationships that increase speed to market opportunities and improve the quality of support we receive in our programming and planning
- Identify high potential revenue opportunities through market and customer profiling
- Leverage and manage the broker partner to grow and manage the business
- Consistently meet and exceed sales objectives as well as market share assigned to the Specialty channel
- Provide customer & broker feedback internally regarding competitive activity and retailer requests
- Manage the Specialty channel’s specific programming and coordinate with internal stakeholder teams to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
- Lead the annual joint business planning and category review process in the Specialty channel
- Develop quarterly business reviews and performance analysis, including budget performance, promotional performance effectiveness, and category/competitive brand performance

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years experience selling in the region, channel or customer
- 5+ years experience selling in national accounts for a branded CPG Company
- Demonstrated record of achievement throughout sales career
- Experience using syndicated data sources: SPINS, Nielsen, and IRI
- Solid understanding of P&L management, gross margin and pricing structures, the impact of discounting, and trade terms
