5. Nativo, $20 million, June 30

Investors: Advanced Vixeid Partners,RezVen Partners

Bio: Nativo is the first scalable native advertising platform. For publishers, the Nativo platform automates the deployment and management of native ad placements. 

News: Nativo partnered with the analytics and intelligence company Moat in April of this year.

5. HomeHero, $20 million, June 30

Investors: Graham Holdings with participation from Social+Capital Partnership, Tencent Holdings Limited and The Launch Fund, Inc.

Bio: HomeHero helps families find, hire and manage quality in-home care for seniors.

News: Alongside the funding news, HomeHero also announced key hires as they begin their expansion.

Investors: Partech Ventures with participation from DCM Capital and Mangrove Capital. Partech’s General Partner, Mark Menell

Bio: The three-year-old company delivers free and fast mobile services to all Americans. 

News: FreedomPop also announced new board members and plans to expand their service.

Investors: Venrock Capital, TCV Capital and Forerunner Ventures with contributions from Wealthfront, Airbnb, and Instacart.

Bio: Dollar Shave Club sends amazing razors and grooming products to subscribers nationwide for affordable prices.

News: The company was recently featured on CNBC's Disruptor 50 list.
