Supports indirect procurement through purchase order placement, open-order management, supplier onboarding and monitoring, compliance documentation, issue resolution, RMA processing, billing discrepancy management, and data entry or migration. The role helps maintain audit readiness, resolve supply chain issues, and manage daily procurement operations while supporting a high-volume space hardware manufacturing environment.

Coordinates component movement and material delivery across purchasing, receiving, inventory, outside processing, and manufacturing work centers. Maintains production flow, system data, schedules, reports, and shortage tracking while collaborating with supply chain, engineering, procurement, quality, manufacturing, schedulers, and managers. Escalates part shortages, purchase order delays, BOM discrepancies, and other blockers. This is a full-time second-shift role supporting critical manufacturing milestones.

Coordinate daily receipt of aerospace parts, materials, tooling, equipment, and supplies. Process accurate ERP/MRP receiving transactions, labels, documentation, certifications, traceability, inspections, discrepancies, and inventory controls. Maintain receiving and quarantine areas, expedite critical materials, support continuous improvement, and assist with shipping, inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations. Operate material-handling equipment safely and collaborate with Procurement, Quality, Inventory, Logistics, and Production teams.

Lead a team of 3-5 buyers to develop and execute machining commodity strategy: supplier selection, capacity planning, negotiations, KPI development, supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional sourcing to support production scale-up in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Manage end-to-end procurement for IT and software subcontractors: define requirements with stakeholders, run RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, enforce terms, and ensure compliance with company policies and export controls.
