As an Avionics Production Engineer, you'll develop and optimize production processes for avionics and oversee the manufacturing of hardware components for spacecraft systems.

Lead the planning and execution of aerospace hardware test campaigns including requirements verification, procedure development, data collection and analysis, anomaly/failure investigation, and test director responsibilities. Interface with leadership, customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies, author test documentation, ensure safety and standards compliance, and mentor junior engineers.

Own supplier quality systems including SCAR, RCCA, NCR, PPAP/FAIR, and supplier audits. Use statistical tools (SPC, Cp/Cpk, Gage R&R, DOE) and root-cause methods to drive corrective actions, verify effectiveness, and partner with engineering to ensure flight-quality hardware. Travel to suppliers as needed and support disposition and production release decisions.

Develop and optimize production processes for spacecraft mechanical structures, ensuring efficient manufacturing and integration while collaborating with engineering teams.

Design, build, and operate instrumentation, DAQ, and automated test control systems for spacecraft testing. Develop test automation (LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB), commission and calibrate sensors, troubleshoot hardware/software integration, perform post-test data analysis, and maintain data management and requirements traceability in hazardous test environments.

Design, develop, and maintain ground support systems while collaborating with teams for projects, troubleshooting, and quality documentation.

The technician will assemble and test spacecraft harnesses, assist with setup and execution of testing facilities, and ensure adherence to cleanroom protocols.

The role involves architecting spacecraft-wide harness solutions, establishing standards and automation tools, overseeing manufacturing strategies, and mentoring engineers across teams.

Develop innovative spacecraft thermal designs, perform thermal analysis, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support testing and operations.
