Create and manage Riverside's YouTube content strategy, handling video production from scripting to publishing, and engaging viewers through storytelling.
The summary above was generated by AI

For many of us, there’s that one podcast we never miss, and video content is part of our daily routine, whether it’s professional or personal. But how many of us truly understand the effort that goes on behind the scenes? Here at Riverside, we know it well. That’s exactly why we built an AI-powered platform that helps content creators, podcasters, marketers, and more at major brands like Netflix, Disney, Google, and Microsoft to create high-quality content with ease.

Riverside’s technology streamlines the entire content creation process, turning ideas into professional-grade content with the highest production standards, without requiring expensive equipment or external services. The secret? AI-driven tools that replace traditional production roles like editing, directing, and design, automating the entire process at the click of a button.

We’re looking for a full-time YouTube Video Creator to own and grow Riverside's YouTube presence. You'll be the face of our YouTube channel and are responsible for creating videos that educate, inspire, and entertain.

To get a better sense of what we're looking for, have a look at our YouTube channel.

What You’ll Do

  • Devise a video strategy with the marketing team and translate it into a consistent publishing schedule
  • Own the entire video production pipeline - scripting, shooting, appearing on camera, editing, and publishing
  • Identify opportunities to experiment with new formats, hooks, and storytelling styles to grow subscribers and watch time
  • Experience doing every part of the video creation pipeline
  • Comfortable, authentic presence on camera and strong storytelling instincts
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with clear and engaging communication
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and bring ideas to life with minimal oversight
  • Solid knowledge of online audio and video production tools

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience building or growing a YouTube channel, other creator-led platform, or public speaking
  • Familiarity with podcasting, either as a creator or a close observer of the space
  • Background in SaaS, tech, or digital media

*Please send us 2 talking head video samples that you have done previously. Note: You should be the one talking into the camera*

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
