Job Description

Our video team is on the lookout for an entrepreneurial YouTube Host/Producer to help develop highly engaging and entertaining content for our small business channel. Reporting to the Head of Video, we’re looking to partner with a curious, business savvy creator whose personality shines on camera and has a knack for breaking down complex business topics in a digestible way.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Host and produce videos focused on the entrepreneurial journey 
  • Develop dynamic scripts and video content that entertains and informs consumers and helps grow the channel
  • Bring the intersection of strategy and creativity, leveraging YouTube best practices with Forbes Advisor brand and business goals.
  • Serve as a highly collaborative team member, willing to give and receive open and constructive feedback 
  • Identify and test new creative video formats that resonate with the Forbes Advisor’s target audience
  • Identity and interview guest experts remotely on camera

Experience:

  • Business development or entrepreneurship experience is a must
  • A portfolio showcasing experience creating content for YouTube 
  • You’ve worked with brands and understand how to bridge your voice with product in a way that resonates with our audience
  • Have the tech skills and equipment required to remotely self-film, capture screen recordings, remotely interview guests, and deliver high-quality raw video content
  • Experience with research, data collection, and scripting 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience interviewing guests either in-person or remotely with a natural ability to build rapport and ask engaging questions
