Senior Workplace Strategy and Occupancy Manager
Greater Bay Area, Southern California or Seattle Area*
Role overview: 

As the Workplace Strategy and Occupancy Manager you will be responsible for the development and delivery of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s workplace and occupancy strategies. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Global Real Estate, Strategy & Delivery and work closely with cross-functional teams and local business leaders to deliver strategies that enable SIE employees to deliver great results. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader in workplace and occupancy strategies and possess strong leadership and analytical skills. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop global strategies for workplace and occupancy to support SIE’s workplace goals. Effectively communicate trends, market research, and business needs to executive management. 
  • Define agile workplace offerings, occupancy strategy and space utilization including adoption of business-line specific strategies and measurement in close partnership with operational business owners.  
  • Develop programming requirements for net-new locations or reconfigurations of existing sites, leveraging data-driven space allocation metrics.
  • Deliver workplace solutions that enable SIE employees to deliver great results that reflect regional nuances and business unit needs.  
  • Drive occupancy management, including utilizing data reporting and analytics to inform decision making.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, Security, HR, Legal and Procurement to ensure holistic requirements are met.  

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in workplace strategy and occupancy planning; preferably in gaming or tech environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels, articulating impact through reporting and business case presentations to executive leadership.  
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate across departments and partner with vendor teams to drive results.  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies or gaps and recommend effective solutions and processes improvements.  
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other space planning or workplace management software.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. 

In addition, this role

$131,400$197,000 USD
