As our Workplace Community Manager, you'll be the ultimate experience architect for our Austin hub. You'll lead the charge in creating an environment where our Wisers feel connected, supported, and excited to come to work. Community & Culture Cultivator:

  • Be the ultimate host: Deliver jaw-dropping hospitality and customer service, making every interaction a delight for our physical and virtual communities.

  • Spin the communication web: Own our workplace communication strategy, ensuring Wisers are always in the loop on local happenings, building updates, and epic events.

  • Guide the journey: Craft playbooks and guidelines that help our communities navigate new ways of working and embrace exciting changes.

  • Party planner extraordinaire: Team up with our Events crew to sprinkle some extra magic on our annual company-wide bash, Mission Days!

Building & Operations Guru:

  • Smooth operator: Ensure our Austin space is always humming along flawlessly. We're talking proactive maintenance, anticipating needs, and keeping downtime at zero!

  • Helpdesk hero: Be the champion for workplace requests, ensuring Wisers get speedy solutions and service levels are crushed.

  • Vendor Whisperer: Oversee our workplace vendors and landlords, from savvy negotiations to building rock-solid relationships.

  • Budget Boss: Manage budgets for our Austin offices with a keen eye, ensuring every penny is spent wisely and reported with crystal clarity.

  • Cost-saving Crusader: Hunt for opportunities to optimize costs and streamline global vendors, helping us get closer to our Mission Zero (that's our goal for zero fees, zero hassle!).

  • Metrics Maestro: Track, analyze, and report on key metrics, helping us fine-tune our strategies and elevate our impact.

  • Data detective: Keep our documents, leases, and floor plans sharp and up-to-date, like a well-organized spy dossier.

Health & Safety Champion:

  • Safety Super-Sleuth: Collaborate with the Americas Health, Safety & Security Program Specialist to ensure our Austin space is a safe haven, always compliant with local laws and codes. Think risk assessments, fire safety, accident reporting, and more!

Team Leader & Mentor:

  • Inspiring Leader: Coach and empower our Austin Workplace Team to shine brightly and crush their objectives, both individually and as a dream team.

  • Growth Architect: Ensure our Workplace Community Team is perfectly sized and skilled, especially as we plan for exciting growth and new spaces in 2025!

  • Talent Spotter: Recruit and onboard new team members, equipping them with everything they need to succeed and thrive.

  • Role Model Extraordinaire: Be the beacon of best practices in workplace experience, hospitality, operations, and events.

Beyond the Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborative Connector: Partner with awesome internal teams like IT, AV, Physical Security, People Partners, and People Operations to solve challenges and spark innovation.

  • Cross-Functional Catalyst: Team up with our Workplace Projects and Safety sub-teams, lending your expertise to exciting new initiatives.

  • Sustainability Star: Champion workplace sustainability, help us track energy consumption, and propel us towards our net-zero carbon goal by 2030!

  • Strategic Thinker: Contribute to our half-yearly planning and OKRs, shaping the future of our Global Workplace Team.

  • Industry Innovator: Network with other workplace pros, bringing fresh ideas and cutting-edge best practices back to Wise.

  • Significant experience leading workplace services or operations, ideally in a blazing-fast tech company.
