Salary Range: $65,000.00- $70,000.00 OTE (On Target Earning) 

The Opportunity:

The Office Experience Coordinator at Kargo's LA office wears many hats, overseeing both facility maintenance and internal events. This role is all about ensuring LA employees love their Kargo experience. Your core responsibility will be managing day-to-day office operations, with a focus on fostering a safe, productive, and enjoyable workplace, while also supporting all stages of internal event planning and execution. This is a full-time, in office position in downtown Santa Monica.

The Day to Day:

Employee Experience

  • Curate and execute all employee culture events for the LA office on a monthly basis
  • Manage budget and track expenses for all office needs 
  • Oversee space planning and seating chart 
  • Partner with People Operations team in new hire activities
  • Order catering for team events
  • Maintain relationship and support for any subtenants in the space 
  • Be the hospitality touchpoint for all employees, clients, and guests of the LA office

Office Operations 

  • Design formal practices and procedures for maintenance of facilities and assets
  • Implement safety and security protocols
  • Stock office will all office, kitchen, and tech supplies
  • Oversee repairs coordinated with building management and maintenance vendors 
  • Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues to IT Department
  • Own conference room calendars and office-wide communications
  • Front desk responsibilities: receive guests, handle mail and packages, answer phones, relay messages

The Requirements:

  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Experience managing to a budget and creating/running culture programs is required 
  • Self-starter; comfortable making decisions and getting things done with little supervision
  • Highly organized and able to multitask between tactical and strategic 
  • Loves to have fun, has a sense of humor, and enjoys being part of a highly collaborative team
  • Highly effective, proactive, and creative written and verbal communicator
  • Possesses a customer-oriented mindset
  • Follows through consistently 
  • Ability to read and negotiate vendor contracts
  • Familiarity and comfort with office technology platforms; experience or aptitude in basic technology troubleshooting 
  • Embraces taking ownership of and improving operational processes
  • Thrives in fast paced environment
  • Has a good understanding of the Santa Monica area including events, restaurants, and activities
