BigCommerce is looking for a part-time Workplace Experience Coordinator to deliver a welcoming and memorable experience for all visitors and employees at our office. This 6 month contract role will be in-office and support our upcoming move to the Domain as well various workplace programs.

Reporting to the Manager of Global Real Estate & Office Experience, you’ll be instrumental in creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere, fostering strong first impressions, and supporting our workplace experiences while embodying our core values of “Stronger Together” and “Customer Compass.” 

What You’ll Do:

  • Create an amazing office experience by fostering a warm and welcoming environment for employees and guests

  • Support daily office operations by managing deliveries, the mailroom, kitchen supplies, and general office upkeep, ensuring everything is neat and ready to inspire

  • Assist with our upcoming move to the Domain and own access badge distribution

  • Maintain vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service while building and maintaining strong working relationships

  • Oversee conference room bookings, event space planning and room setup for company events and meetings.

  • Coordination of office, regional and community events—bringing our culture to life through engaging experiences

  • Step in with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed 

Who You Are:

  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or office management; event planning experience is a plus

  • Proficient in Gmail, Google Docs, and other common workplace tools

  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels

  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the employee experience

  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Creative problem-solver with good judgment and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the workplace

  • Energized by working with people and excited to play a central role in shaping BigCommerce’s culture

  • Demonstrates strong judgment and maintains confidentiality

  • Flexible and open to adjust working hours

(Pay Transparency Range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour)

The exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
