Next Generation, Inc., an Equal-Opportunity Employer, is seeking a skilled WorkForce Software (WFS) Solution Architect to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of time, attendance, and labor scheduling solutions using the WorkForce Software platform, for a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of workforce management processes and a proven track record of delivering scalable and optimized WFS solutions for global organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and end-to-end implementation of WorkForce Software (EmpCenter, WorkForce Suite) solutions.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design scalable, configurable, and efficient WFS solutions that align with organizational needs and compliance requirements.
- Configure and customize WFS modules including Time & Attendance, Absence Management, and Advanced Scheduling.
- Provide oversight and guidance to implementation teams and serve as the primary liaison with WorkForce Software support.
- Ensure system integration with other platforms such as ERP, Payroll (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ADP), and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
- Lead or contribute to testing strategies including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live readiness.
- Maintain documentation including solution designs, configuration specifications, and technical integration flows.
- Advise on best practices and stay current with product updates, roadmap changes, and workforce management trends.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT or HR technology roles with at least 3–5 years focused on WorkForce Software solution design and implementation.
- Strong functional knowledge of workforce management processes (time tracking, scheduling, leave management, compliance).
- Experience integrating WFS with ERP, payroll, and HR systems.
- Hands-on experience with WFS configuration tools and rules writing (pay rules, accruals, interfaces).
- Familiarity with database queries (e.g., SQL) and middleware/integration platforms.
- Experience working in a global environment with complex union, labor law, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- WorkForce Software certifications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
- Exposure to labor regulations like FLSA, FMLA, and GDPR.
- Experience with cloud-based HR ecosystems (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
Job Benefits:
- Competitive FTE salary range based on experience, education, and geographical location of $135,000 - $155,000 USD base salary.
