We’re looking for a Workday Testing Lead who understands how critical testing is in a campus environment. When systems touch payroll, faculty appointments, grants, and students, there’s no room for guesswork.
You’ll design and run testing that reflects real Higher Ed workflows and calendar-driven constraints
LocationRemote with 10% travel to Tuscaloosa, AL, United States
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the overall Workday testing strategy
Lead system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Coordinate testing across HR, Finance, Payroll, and academic stakeholders
Validate testing scenarios against Higher Ed business processes
Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
Support cutover readiness and go-live approval
Ensure testing aligns with academic calendars and payroll cycles
5+ years of ERP testing leadership experience
Direct Workday testing experience required
Higher Education experience required
Strong knowledge of end-to-end Workday business processes
Experience with defect management tools and test documentation
Experience testing Workday Student or complex payrolls
QA or testing certification
Prior experience supporting go-live readiness in Higher Ed
