The Workday Reporting and Analytics Manager will support practice leadership and provide expert advice and guidance to other members of the Reporting and Analytics team. This individual serves as a billable lead or consultant on Workday implementations and/or post-production services. The Manager will also manage a team of Workday reporting consultants and occasionally assist with sales and administrative activities. This individual works closely with both practice and project leadership to identify business needs, recommend solutions, assist with staffing projects, and ensure work/life balance of our consultants are monitored and adjusted appropriately. The Manager role will report to a Director or Senior Manager within the Workday Reporting and Analytics practice.

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  • Oversight responsibility for Workday Reporting projects across the practice
  • Oversee and assist engagement/project managers and team members when needed to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies

Sales Support:

  • Support team interest in the sales pursuit process for Workday reporting
  • Identify scope and provide estimates for new projects or tasks
  • Provide meaningful input on potential solutions to solve complex requirements

Team Leadership:

  • Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications
  • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment
  • Lead and manage a team of reporting consultants to ensure the team is following the activities, processes, and procedures outlined in Workday’s and Collaborative’s Implementation Methodology
  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high client satisfaction levels
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence
  • Ability to build trust-based relationship and identify and foster development opportunities
  • Support internal projects to drive innovation and improve delivery execution

People Development:

  • Serve as a mentor and coach for direct reports as well as others across the team
  • Analyze skillsets and promote new opportunities for additional development in support of staffing projects and driving personal achievement for consultants.
  • Advise leadership team on team members’ level of expertise, availability, and potential

Performance Management:

  • Solicit performance feedback from clients and project management for your team.
  • Prepare an assessment of key performance areas in alignment with company values and objectives
  • Provide guidance on development items during the bi-annual review process
  • Manage the pursuit of internal contribution initiatives and customer satisfaction objectives for consulting team. Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis
  • Drive bi-annual performance review process for the consulting team

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Workday HCM, Financials and/or Student Consulting implementation experience with a focus on reporting and analytics tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • Proven experience leading a virtual team for 2+ years 
  • Required consulting characteristics: fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced work environments 
  • Required management characteristics: develop new relationships, cultivate growth in others, understand motivations, identify development opportunities, provide practice leadership, execute effective management techniques that support the success of the practice and your consultants
  • Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished 
  • Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects
  • Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site if needed 

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 01/25/2026 The annual salary for this position is between $148,824 - $188,193 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
