THE ROLE

The Workday Reporting Analyst will own Live Nation’s Workday report library. They are tasked with maintaining a cohesive approach to Workday reporting, answering ad-hoc requests with existing or new reports, and ensuring the integrity of analytics. They will have the opportunity to catalyze decisions through metrics, graphs, and other data insights. This is a new role reporting into our HR Technology team but works closely with business stakeholders across all functions. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:

  • Design, build, test, and maintain custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Trending, Composite) and dashboards in Workday across all modules (HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Absence, etc.).

  • Maintain and improve existing reports based on stakeholder feedback, system changes, or business priorities.

  • Ensure reports align with data privacy and security policies, using Workday’s role-based security model.

  • Partner with HR, Finance, Compliance, and business leaders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable Workday solutions.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday reporting capabilities, limitations, and best practices.

  • Train HR users and other stakeholders on self-service reporting and dashboards as appropriate.

  • Troubleshoot report data discrepancies and identify root causes.

  • Participate in data audits and clean-up initiatives to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Contribute to Workday optimization initiatives, including implementation of new modules and feature releases that impact reporting.

  • Assist with testing and validation of reporting-related changes during system upgrades and releases.

  • Other projects as needed.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of Workday or other HRIS support experience, preferably in a reporting or configuration role.

  • Proficiency in Workday report writer, calculated fields, and security setup for reporting.

  • Familiarity with Workday dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Workday’s data source architecture.

  • Strong Excel skills (not just VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP). Experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail

  • Asks thoughtful questions and keeps meticulous notes.

  • Able to work autonomously when needed.

  • Willing to learn

The expected compensation for this position is:

$88,000.00 USD - $110,000.00 USD
