Job Description
We're seeking a driven and passionate people leader to help oversee and facilitate the successful delivery of the Workday Financials & Adaptive consulting services practice!
This role truly understands the challenges all CFO/CAOs face when they need to select, deploy, and support the latest and greatest technology to empower company growth while keeping their business running and spending in check.
Together with other members of the delivery and market leadership team, this role will focus on prioritization and execution of strategic initiatives, staffing, and the delivery area roadmap across people, services, delivery, and innovation aligned to the Office of the CFO/CAO and related Workday Financials & Adaptive solutions.
This role will strengthen our internal consulting methodology, processes, people engagement, and culture.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to look for new ways to manage delivery excellence, create new offerings & approaches, and ‘think out of the box’ on how to continue to grow CrossVue. This role reports directly to the F&A Solutions Practice Leader and is a critical member of the delivery leadership team.
Role Objectives
Partner with the delivery and market leadership team to execute CrossVue’s strategic objectives, growth plans and go to market strategy.
Maximize the effectiveness of the CrossVue Complete methodology and processes to support competitive industry solutions, market differentiation, and thought leadership.
Manage the Financials and Adaptive consulting areas to optimize our staffing and utilization to drive greater project density, increased client satisfaction, and employee retention across all CrossVue projects.
Drive delivery excellence with consistent messaging, approaches, content, and tools across the company.
Build and foster creative teams that are committed to our culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous development.
As a Workday Finance & Accounting Solutions Manager, you’ll be asked to:
Be accountable for delivery of strategic initiatives, staffing & capacity planning, and the practice roadmap across people, services, and innovation across a Financials Pillars.
Be accountable for employee retention, including the development and performance management of other team members
Ensure delivery excellence through project monitoring, mitigation strategies, and escalation resolution.
Develop and manage client relationships and Workday alliances with the Office of the CFO/CAO. Identify opportunities to expand and develop CrossVue services in support of increasing client satisfaction and value realization.
Empower and grow Pillar leaders by establishing clear accountabilities & responsibilities. Develop succession plans.
Manage teams to create an atmosphere supporting our core values and coaching staff including providing meaningful, timely, written, and verbal feedback.
Support marketing and business development efforts with thought leadership and innovation
Responsible for product growth aligned to brand and company growth strategy.
Lead efforts to obtain Ramp to Prime status on new capabilities.
We’re looking for someone with:
Workday Certification(s) in the FINS space – Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Grants, and Supply Chain Management
3+ years of financial solutions implementation experience with Workday across multiple industries
3+ five years with direct responsibility for the performance management and development of other consultants and team members
5+ years’ relevant experience in a professional services firm or in a corporate accounting role
Demonstrated experience leading and growing an ERP/Business Systems practice (i.e. company division/group/practice)
Experience in requirements definition & gathering (blueprinting), system setup, integration testing, documentation, end-user training, and on-going support
Experience with waterfall and/or agile ERP implementation methodologies
Finance or accounting background with knowledge of General Ledger and Sub-ledger concepts preferred (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Intercompany transfers and allocations, AP, AR, trial balance data, General Ledger, Procurement, and Asset Management)
Ability to build and develop strong client relationships and drive client conversations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
Strong executive presence and C-suite advisory experience
Excellent communication skills, exhibiting professionalism and discretion in interacting with executives and clients
Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a “big picture” perspective
High energy, enthusiasm, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a great sense of humor
We’d love if you:
Have additional experience in one or more of the following areas: FP&A, financial reporting, operational accounting, accounting policy, transactions, etc.
Have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or other technical discipline
Are CPA or CPA eligible
