Daikin Applied is hiring a Workday Analyst II - Reporting and Analytics! The Workday Analyst II - Reporting & Analytics is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics that support strategic decision making across HR and the business. With limited supervision, this role partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business leaders to translate data needs into scalable reporting solutions, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and enhance the organization’s overall reporting and analytics capabilities within Workday. Location: Remote, Plymouth MN

What you will do:

  • Serve as a strategic owner of the Workday reporting and analytics space by defining standards, best practices, reporting intake, and maintenance processes to support consistency, efficiency, and data integrity
  • Build, enhance, and maintain Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, BIRT, Discovery Boards, Dashboards) with a focus on developing scalable and reusable reporting solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Support complex calculated fields, data source troubleshooting, and reporting security requirements
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Prism dashboards and Discovery Boards to deliver actionable insights to HR and business leaders
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical reporting specifications
  • Provide actionable insights and analysis to HR and business leaders
  • Deliver knowledge transfer, reporting guidance, and self-service enablement
  • Collaborate with Workday Functional and Analyst teams to align reporting with configuration changes and needs
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve efficiency
  • Manage Workday release enhancements to ensure technical and functional requirements are tested and adopted in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship or valid green card
  • 4 Year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ Years of Workday experience
  • 5+ Years in Workday Reporting and Analytics
  • Experience building Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Calculated Fields)
  • Experience with Workday Prism and Discovery Boards
  • Strong understanding of Workday data structures across HCM, Absence, Compensation, Talent, and/or Payroll
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management experience
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HR function & processes
  • Experience with Workday BIRT reporting
  • Knowledge of data governance, HR analytics, or business intelligence practices
  • Workday Pro certification or equivalent experience

The typical pay rate for the position ranges from $90,000.00 - $148,800 + 10% annual bonus target in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position(s) fall. Individual hourly pay rate will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
