The Workday Administrator will support the day-to-day operations, administration, and ongoing maintenance of the Workday platform while working collaboratively with the HR and Finance teams.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the review, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Workday modules and releases for all Workday functional areas.
  • Manage Workday ServiceNow tickets and monitor the Workday support email accounts.
  • Provide regular Workday support to the HR and Finance teams through frequent auditing and running custom reports/dashboards. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to Workday users.
  • Review and approve HR Transactions for accuracy before completion.
  • Create and maintain documentation on Business Processes, configuration, and other resources as needed.
  • Execute testing activities and recommend solutions, or alternate methods, to meet business requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom Workday reports, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to present complex data in a user-friendly format.
  • Leverage Workday Prism Analytics to aggregate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Research and participate in Workday Community to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Develop custom reports to support business needs, maintain data integrity, support regulatory reporting, and enable decision-making based on requirements from the HR and Finance teams.
  • Maintain and configure security across Workday tenants based on direction from the HR and Finance teams.
  • Maintain applicable SharePoint sites and Power Automate flows.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience with Workday in an administration role
  • Experience with ticketing systems (i.e., ServiceNow)
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 including SharePoint and Power Automate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., sitting or standing) for extended periods of time, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
  • Frequent use of a computer, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment such as a telephone, copier, and printer.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, including exchanging information in person, in writing, by telephone, email or video conferencing.
  • Visual and auditory acuity required to perform job duties effectively, including reading, writing, and interpreting information on screens or in print.
  • Hand dexterity, fine motor skills needed to operate a keyboard and mouse efficiently
  • Reach with hands and arms occasionally

For Hybrid Roles:

  • Must be able to commute to an office setting as required, which may include walking short distances and navigating an office environment.
  • Occasionally moves about the office to access files, office machinery, and meet with others.
