KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop wireless and RF communication systems for aerospace applications
- Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of RF components and subsystems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering to deliver robust solutions
Report to: Director of Engineering
Location: San Jose, CA
Work schedule: M-F, 9/80 schedule
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Experience in wireless and RF engineering, including design, testing, and troubleshooting of RF systems
- Strong knowledge of RF circuit design, antenna theory, and wireless communication protocols
- Proficiency with RF simulation tools, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and related test equipment
- Familiarity with aerospace communication standards and regulatory requirements
WE VALUE
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related field
- Experience in aerospace or defense industries
- Knowledge of embedded systems and software integration for RF applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
The annual base salary range for this position is $93,000-$117,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
