In this role, you will:
- Assess and connect WIM Advisor and CB Relationship managers for potential referral and WIM growth opportunities. This includes:
- Referrals from WIM to CB will require working with advisors with a variety of customer sizes and needs requiring assessment and profiling
- The early identification, accurate assessment and will provide a better client experience
- Referrals from CB to WIM will require coordination of portfolio reviews, particularly on strategic-tiered names, in order to assess the existing WIM connectivity, deal teams and surface opportunities
- This will include first-time introductions to WIM which require particular attention
- Coordinate and foster the engagement with the local WIM FAs and their leaders for more targeted engagement and uncovering opportunities for CB
- Engage Division Sales Executives and Business Development Officers providing coordination and sponsorship of the WIM and CB opportunity
- Support WIM segment leader with market level routines, including required follow-up needed with WIM advisors and CB relationship managers
- Design, build and implement targeted growth strategies, in coordination with the WIM segment leader, for the Market Coverage national strategy and individualized strategy for each of the industry verticals in Specialized Industries
- Assist in alignment of sales strategy plan with marketing initiatives in developing education, a consistent communication strategy and supporting progress through sharing wins in coordination with the BMO team and Sales Enablement ensuring a consistent delivery across all assigned divisions
- Utilize data analysis to forecast, identify potential opportunities, and mitigate risks
- Continuously works to strengthen risk and control infrastructure around sales procedures, policies, activities, and product placement; identifies and mitigates risk, contributes to improving controls, and participates in issues management when necessary
- 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- In-depth understanding of WIM and Commercial Banking's client segments, its products, industries and clients
- Executive presence and the ability to drive outcomes through influencing at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated strategic vision with the ability to lead execution across multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to operate in a highly matrixed and global environment with multiple and senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule

- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
